Getting started

Load a dataset and learn the workspace in under two minutes.

This guide walks you from “fresh launch” to “inspecting a study”.

1. Load a file

• Click Open in the TopBar (or press ⌘O).
• Pick a .dcm, .dicom, or .zip archive.
• The viewer screen appears with the tag tree on the left.

2. Orient yourself

• Tag tree (left) — every header tag.
• Viewports (centre) — pixel data, if present.
• Right rail — Study / Annotations / History / Audit tabs.
• StatusBar (bottom) — live cursor & tool state.

3. Pick a workflow

• Just looking? Stay in View mode.
• Editing metadata? Switch to Edit and see .
• De-identifying? Switch to Anon and see .
