Export image

Save the current frame as PNG, JPEG, or TIFF.

Renders the active frame at its own pixel size (Columns × Rows) with the current window/level, then encodes it as a PNG (lossless), JPEG (adjustable quality), or baseline TIFF. Zoom and pan are not applied. Pixel redactions previewed in anonymize mode are baked into the rendered output.

Include annotations draws your measurements onto the exported image: lengths, angles, ellipses, bidirectional measurements, probe readings, labelled arrows and Cobb angles on the current frame, each with the value the Annotations tab shows. They are drawn at the image’s own pixel size, on top of any pixel redactions. The option is off each time the dialog opens. Arrow labels and other annotation text are drawn exactly as typed, so check them for patient details before you share the file. Annotations are never written into a DICOM file’s pixel data.

Tip Enable the JSON sidecar to write the displayed tag values next to the image for publication provenance.
