Whole Slide Microscopy (modality SM) images open as a bounded, static overview: dcmage composites the lowest-resolution pyramid level’s tiles into a single canvas at that level’s native resolution.

Caution This is a web preview only — interactive tiled pan/zoom streaming of the full-resolution slide is reserved for the desktop build, where the slide can be streamed from disk rather than held in browser memory.
